Web security protects your data and users:
Today's Web is dynamic. You and 2 billion others use it every day.
It's a risky place for data. Security threats target confidential names, numbers, and other data.
Legacy solutions are no longer enough. Antivirus products and URL filters can't detect today's clever, complicated Web threats.
Websense offers 24/7 Web protection with:

Email security protects confidential data by:
Incoming email puts you at risk. 80% of incoming email is spam, often with links to malicious websites. The other 20% can carry infected files, invasive scripts, and other security risks.
Outbound email can leak confidential data. Employees often send sensitive data to personal email accounts so they can work from home. Or they may send sensitive data by mistake. Either way puts your data at risk.
Websense offers 24/7 email protection for:
Get the most comprehensive email coverage in the industry – at the lowest cost
Choose this option if you know you already have complete email protection
Data security protects confidential information:
Data is your company's lifeblood. Financial records, customer lists, credit card numbers. Confidential data is your company's lifeblood – and a major security target
Good security prevents data leaks. Policies protect your data, but it's easy to accidentally send it in files, emails, or unsafe applications. One mistake can result in lost productivity, reputation, and future sales.
Protect databases, personal information, business data, intellectual information, and other confidential assets
Choose this option if you're sure you have adequate DLP

It’s good to go with a leader, so you’ll be happy to hear that Enterprise Management Associates (EMA) just positioned Websense as a Value Leader—the highest rating possible—in its 2011 EMA Radar™ Report for Hosted Message Security Services. Not only was Websense selected as a leader for email security, but
We'd like to take a moment to congratulate one of our own on a great achievement. Websense's Dave Baker, vice president of IT, was recently honored in San Diego Magazine’s Top Tech Exec Awards. Dave (pictured in the center, with a V5000 appliance) won the “public company” category, the most competitive of all. Overall, more than 150 technology leaders in San Diego were nominated, and nine were named honorees.
Dave was recognized for his overall leadership, assistance in developing and testing Websense revolutionary TRITON Content Security Solution, while also spearheading more than 75 recent projects. His projects included implementing several critical Websense business intelligence capabilities, which integrated multiple departments, improved sales communication, and increased visibility into Websense’s customers and profitability.
Congratulations to Dave and his team for continuing to contribute to Websense capabilities and for helping to ensure that our customers stay ahead of the latest IT security threats.
Websense® TRITON™ has been named winner of the Best Content Security Award at the SC Magazine Awards Europe. The judging panel chose Websense TRITON as the best content security solution for its ability to enable businesses to extend the protection it offers to remote offices and mobile workers. This is due to the integration between the cloud-based and on-premise platforms through Websense TruHybrid deployment for unified management of threats. It also utilizes Websense TruWeb DLP and TruEmail DLP capabilities to cover data loss from the web and through email. This news comes hot on the heels of another Content Security accolade: earlier this year Websense was named the winner of the Best Web Content Management Product in the U.S. Reader Trust category of the 2011 SC Magazine Awards. These awards are recognition that the security landscape has changed and that older perimeter-based solutions are no longer sufficient or effective against modern malware. Indeed, organizations no longer have perimeters that can be secured. There are branch offices, mobile devices, and remote workers that need safe access to confidential corporate information -- no matter where it's created or used. Arguably, Websense and the Websense TRITON solution has done more than any other company to enable security, productivity, and data leakage prevention (DLP) in the new era of borderless enterprises.
