Can anyone tell me why sites listed in this category are blocked by default by Websense? It seems a lot of urls fall into this category.....what are we opening ourselves up to if we unblock this category?

Personal Network Storage and Backup:
Sites that store personal files on internet servers for backup or exchange.
There is potential risk for browsing or downloading this kind of websites.
Allowing acess to these sites could allow data leakage to occur regarding sensitive company information.
I do agree that these sites can containt viruses orther potential risks. Viruses are intercepted by an anti-virus software.
I would like to allow to visit these sites but NOT ALLOW to upload documents. Is it possible? How?

HWS doesn't offer that type of granularity. For that... you'd need data leak prevention (DLP) functionality. Websense has something in that space, but I don't know the details.
