I have been asked to look into making PEM internet accessible. Has anyone here gone through and done that before? If so how did you set it up? I am a little concerned about the lack of authentication logging. Any other thoughts on security concerns?

I'd get an application pen test performed before I'd open it up. I'd also put a web app firewall in front of it. If that thing was not written for a hostile environment you would be asking for a lot of trouble.
