Question:  We are running websense web filter 7.6, logging to a separate SQL Server log database.  For various reasons, we don't want to keep log records longer than a week or two.  Is there any way to have a job that will purge all log entries - for example, I would want to have a job that could be scheduled using the SQL Server agent, that would take a parameter (how many days to keep), and for it to remove all log entries older than that number of days.

Under Settings / Reporting / Log Database - look under Maintenance and Configuration - there is an option to automatically delete partitions after so many days pass...
