Your request (FR201203-4368) has been entered into our Feature Request tracking system, and our Product Management team will review it within the next 30 days. If you need a response sooner, we recommend that you open a case with Technical Support. When the request is reviewed, the product manager will decide whether to accept this for future consideration or ask for more information. Please note that Websense receives a high volume of feature requests, and as such Websense cannot include all of these requests in the next product release. That said, the product team is constantly revisiting the list of requests to determine the features that have been most frequently requested, so that the highest priority features are addressed.

Group Action in Reports

It would be useful to group actions in the reports by the same primary actions that are defined in policies. I would like to draw a report that shows either Blocked or Allowed, but this does not seem possible. In investigative reports there are over a dozen different actions, most of which are not desirable in our management reports ("Permitted by scanning link analysis" for example.) The today page has a graph "policy enforcement by risk class" which only shows blocked and permitted, however if one clicks on the link it shows all actions.

In Presentation reports one could select only blocked and allowed as the actions to report on, however, this would skew the reporting, unless the "Category Permitted" action stats includes all permitted actions, for instanced "Never block" or "permitted by quota".
