Is there a way to block only the file sending portion of Skype?

Hey all,

Is there a way to block the file transfer part part of Skype while allowing Skype to be permitted (for video/ chat)

Hi Drew,

Sorry that we can not prevent file tranferring through Websense Web Filter. But this can be achieved through our Data Security Suite. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi,

 

Please can you elaborate how this can be done? As I understand it, it will only block for matching patterns/file types. That then is global and not skype specific.
