Hi,
We are running WES 7.3. My general manager just asked me to look into a problem he is having where email forwarded to him from another email account. He has an account on one of our partner's domains and has all email auto-forwarded to his account in our domain so he can read them more easily.
One of the emails he expects is a news letter and it continues to get caught in our filters even though both domains are in our white list. That would be the partner's domain and the domain where the news letter comes from.
Since it is being forwarded from the partner's domain I think the message should pass due to the white listing of that domain. Any thoughts as to what's going wrong or how I can troubleshoot this?
Thanks in advance,
Linn
We've had issues like that ourselves. I initially had whitelisted the domain address that was showing in Outlook. But when I searched for that email in ESG I saw that the newsletter was actually being sent with a different From address and just masking what outlook saw.
Once I added the real address in that ESG saw the newsletters came thru fine. Not sure if this applies to your situation but thats what we've run into several times.
