When you deploy a policy update to an endpoint, it looks like it pushes over 2 MB to each endpoint agent. This is slamming our T-1 WAN links to their maximum as each agent checks in.

Anything you can do to reduce the WAN usage would be appreciated. Right now we'll probably have to set the endpoint agents to one update check every 24 hours and take the bandwidth hit as the computers get turned on each morning.

Do you have policies with fingerprinted data?

Then you should be aware when doing database fingerprint or file fingerprint with content similarity.
