How to disable email notiifications in PEM

We do not want to send email notifications, but prefer users just go to the URL to manage their email. How do I turn this feature off as our organization considers the notification either a)spam in itself or b) going to cause users to call the help desk regarding the emails

Unable to get mail in PEM portal

I have clustered ESG environment with two V5000 G2 appliances. I can log in to the PEM, but after that PEM is time outing and showing none of email. There is 2000 users (licenses) in my environment. PEM - some users unable to log in

We are deploying PEM but have come across a situtaion whereby some users are unable to log in. Whole Websense environment is now upgraded to 7.6.7 version, but when I access PEM it's still processing search for quarantined mail and doesn't show any email.
