  • Websense Reporting Ver.6 - How change Policy Server

    Hi, there - let me try and explain my set-up. Head office: Websense web filter ver6 on server 1 & Websense reoprting ver.6 on server 2. I am about to retire by ver.6 websense server in Head office but will keep the reoprting server as a still have three other websense ver 6 servers in Branch offices. Currently the websense.ini file on the Websense Reporting server uses the IP of the server i was to retire. Can i simply edit this file to use one of the other branch office Policy servers? Secondly

  • Ver6 Reporting v's Ver 7

    Hi, looking for some clarification here. Right now i have several Websense implementations, some are ver6 and some ver 7. The all report back to a Reporting server which is ver 6 with SQL 2005. I want to have all implementations running ver 7. My question is whether i still need this legacy reporting server and is the reporting handled differently in Ver 7? Should it also be upgraded? Thanks
